PETER N. TAYLOR, PE, PLS Chief Executive Officer, President & Principal Engineer Peter N. Taylor, PE, PLS, is licensed in the State of Hawai‘i in the following: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Land Surveying, and Contractor 'A' License, General Engineering (RME), Hawaii. Peter Taylor has been providing consulting engineering services for 37 years. BSc Engineering, Lanchester Polytechnic, England, Post Graduate Business Administration, England, PROFESSIONAL SOCIETIES: American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Hawaii Association of Land Surveyors.
ROHAN R. HARPER Chief Operating Officer Responsible for overall management, supervision and expediting of all client projects. Experienced survey chief and CAD Operator with Total Station and data transfer to surveying software and generating survey drawings. Processes governmental requirements and conducts research of governmental documents. Experienced and knowledgeable with No-Rise Certification and Elevation Certificates, Subdivisions, CPR’s, Boundary Staking, Topographical Surveys, etc. University of the Pacific, Stockton, California, Accelerated 3-year Bachelor of Arts Program. 2 years post graduate study at Sydney University, Australia. 20 years multi-phased construction and engineering projects on Kauai.
DIANA TAYLOR Office Manager & Bookkeeper Working background has always been in engineering; supported and sustained husband Peter from the inception of Peter Taylor Inc., thirty-five years ago to present, as office manager, bookkeeper and secretary. Selected the accounting system utilized for tracking employee hours for invoicing and payroll; accounts receivables, State & Federal taxes. Presently functions more as backup for the Executive Administrative Assistant, solely handling bookkeeping, allowing more time to “smell the roses”.
JEREMIAH KALUNA Specialized Engineering Consultant Former Kaua‘i County Engineer and Manager of the County of Kauai Department of Water, Registered Professional Engineer. Bachelor of Science: Civil Engineering, University of Hawaii.
JAN M. MAGRAS Engineering Technician Performs Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering assignments that include design, plans and developing maps and construction drawings as needed; includes drainage plans and NPDES studies, flood studies and mapping of floodways and affected areas. He has worked on No-Rise Certification determination requirements. Roger Williams College, Bristol, Rhode Island, B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Cum Laude, Math Minor Design Engineer: 5 years semiconductor industry in California. Manufacturing Engineer: 8 years in aerospace and marine composite industries in California. Engineer-in-Training Certificate: California.
ROSANGELA VIEIRA CAD Operator Works closely with Peter Taylor and Rohan Harper in generating accurate set of drawings for affected projects with all details and notes required by government agencies. Drafts site plans, maps, mass grading, storm drainage system and survey data. Work experience as AutoCAD Operator for commercial and residential architectural projects and water feature designs. Professional Institute Development: Landscape Design (on-going), Cuesta College: San Luis Obispo, California, Architectural Drafting, Honolulu Community College: Architectural, Engineering and CAD Technologies, Computer Expertise: Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArchiCAD, Revit, Land Development Desktop and Sight Survey.
DANIÈLE CASTILLO Executive Administrative Assistant Acts as liaison between clients, engineers, staff and State and County entities. Conducts research and prepares proposals, work order agreements, CPR documents, metes and bounds descriptions, correspondence, studies and reports. Troubleshoots computer issues. Designed and implemented corporate web site. Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, Bachelor of Science: Business Administration, dual concentration in Marketing and International Business.
PAUL MEDEIROS Survey Crew Since October 2001. Works with Rohan on boundary and topographical surveys, hard working and very efficient in finding original survey markers.
